The Albion pub landlords Ian and Nik Rampton rant about drug users trashing the South Willesborough pub

An Ashford landlord has said he is 'over the moon' at the support Facebook users have given his rant about 'disgusting' drug takers.

Ian and Nik Rampton, who run the Albion in South Willesborough, posted the passionate attack on the pub's own Facebook page around 1am on Saturday morning about 'scum' drug users trashing the pub.

But the post has now reached nearly 30,000 views and Mr Rampton said: "What started as a little rant has certainly evolved."

The dad-of-three said he posted the rant after someone ripped up his anti drug signs in the toilets and pulled off the toilet roll holder which had only been up three days.

In the post, he said he hates drugs and will not tolerate anyone caught using them in his pub.

He wrote: "Why should I put up with you lot trashing my home even after all I'm trying to do is make a nice, safe, environment for my locals and their kids.

"As you all know I hate drugs, and by destroying my signs about your disgusting habit you will not put me off."

He then warns potential drug users that they will not be tolerated, they will be reported to the police, barred for life and put on pub watch for a year.

He added: "As I said, you know who you are and I've got a good idea too. Do it in your home and not mine cause I'd rather go broke than have scum like you in here."

Just three days after the post was published, it has been viewed nearly 30,000 times, received nearly 700 likes and attracted nearly 200 comments.

Mr Rampton added: "Thanks so much you everyone for reading this and sharing. Please continue to share this as I want to break the 10,000 views limit, then they'll know what you and us think of drugs."

The pub landlords made the news in October last year when Ian discovered sick, indecent pictures of children on a punters phone after a fight.

The police were called, Daniel Bessell was arrested and later admitted possessing two indecent images of children.
