Canterbury girl's elbow pulled so hard it snapped

POLICE are investigating an assault on a young girl who had her elbow pulled back so hard it snapped.

The incident took place on a play area close to the 11-year-old’s home on the Spring Lane estate, Canterbury, days before she was due to start at secondary school.

She was playing with her brother and got into an argument with a boy. Officers are talking to witnesses, some of whom are of primary school age.

A 15-year-old boy has been questioned by police and bailed until Monday.
