Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish says Callum Willock’s move to Dover was a "no brainer" for the Fleet top scorer.

Willock (pictured), who has netted 46 goals in 99 games since joining from Cambridge United in July 2010, made the surprise move last week.

Daish said: "It was purely down to finances. Calum was in a bit of a quandary whether to step down a level but it was an offer that I couldn’t match and was a no brainer for him."

Dover boss Nicky Forster said: "Calum is someone we targeted early on as a possibility for the sort of player we were looking to attract. It took a while to complete but both parties worked hard to make it happen."

Willock was top scorer in his first campaign with 26 and led the scoring charts again last season with 20.
