£1m in cash seized in swoop on cannabis suspects' homes

Around £1m in cash and more than 50 kilos of cannabis have been seized in major raids across Kent, London and the home counties.

Homes in Chatham and Bromley were among the 35 addresses raided by officers

from the Metropolitan Police's Special Intelligence Section and local police.

Fourteen arrests were made in an operation to disrupt an alleged distribution network.

Premises were searched in London, Kent, Surrey and the Thames Valley.
