Death at bridge investigated by police

A POST mortem examination was being carried out today on the body of a 39-year-old man found hanging from a bridge.

The body was found in Hoath Way at Gillingham at about 6.30am on Thursday and roads nearby were sealed off.

Police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances. An inquest will be opened later in the week.
