Sittingbourne man dies after collision on M25 in Essex

Police are appealing for information after a man from Kent died in a crash on the M25.

Emergency services descended on the scene near Theydon Bois in Essex following the incident on Tuesday evening.

It is understood that a Silver Ford Focus colided with the central reservation before leaving the road.

The incident occurred on the anticlockwise carriageway between Junctions 28 and 27 at around 8.10pm.

The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man from Newington, near Sittingbourne, died at the scene.
