FROM November 3 to 29, motorists have the choice from DVLA’s database of more than eight million ’04 personalised registrations from just £499 including VAT and assignment fee.

From December onwards, there will still be a choice of more than one million ’04 registrations.

Louise Pierpoint, DVLA’s publicity manager, said: “November really is the ideal opportunity for motorists to snap up their ideal ’04 registration, as virtually every combination possible is available to purchase from DVLA. For those who like to think ahead, then November is also the ideal time to buy a truly original Christmas present.”

Since the launch of the current style registrations in 2001, thousands of motorists have styled the two-letter, two-number, three-letter combination to create their ideal plates, picking out names and initials, favourite football teams, fun words and even vehicle models. Customers are also still able to choose from a large selection of older prefix style numbers, giving motorists an additional nine million numbers to choose from direct from the DVLA from as little as £250.

All registrations are available through the DVLA’s hotline, 0870 6000 142, which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
