A 71-year-old man has died in hospital after a fire at a bungalow in a Kent village.
The blaze broke out shortly before 10pm on Friday in Uckfield Lane at Hever, near Tonbridge.
Two fire crews from Westerham and Edenbridge attended the scene. The man was rescued and taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital at Tunbridge Wells but later suffered a heart attack and died.
The victim has not yet been named by police. The coroner is being informed and an inquest will be held.
