Police hunt armed bank robbers

TWO men armed with a mallet and a gun burst into the NatWest Bank in Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells, today demanding money.

The men, who were described as wearing jeans, dark tops and ski masks, were handed a sum of money before making off in a green car - possibly a Rover.

The direction they took after leaving the high street bank is not known. The robbery happened shortly after 11am.
