Teenager in bike crash still critical

A TEENAGER is still fighting for his life in hospital today after a motorbike accident.

The 16-year old, from Allington, near Maidstone, suffered multiple injuries after the Gilera 50 cc motorcycle he was riding collided with a parked Audi car shortly before midnight last Friday in Poplar Grove, Allington.

He was initially treated in an intensive care ward at Maidstone Hospital before being transferred to a London hospital for specialist care. His condition was still critical this morning.
