'Very dangerous' medication stolen from bag

KENT Police have issued a warning to the public after a bag was stolen from the Castle Grounds at Rochester on Sunday.

A woman’s bag was stolen as she worked on a stall at the Dickens Festival in the city. Along with her purse and other items, in the front pocket of the bag was prescribed medication for Multiple Sclerosis.

Police have stressed that anyone who is offered the medication must not take them, as they could be "very dangerous" to anyone other than the person the medication was prescribed to.

Offficers are investigating the theft of the bag, but would urge anyone who finds them, or who has information to contact police in Medway on 01634 884252 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

All calls to Crimestoppers are free, you do not have to leave your name and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
