Gills player of the month - vote now

The coveted honour of Gillingham player of the month is back up for grabs this week as polls open for the November accolade.

An impressive month for the Gills saw them lose just one throughout November with three wins and two draws coming from their other five games in a hectic schedule.

Last month Nicky Southall took the honour but he’s out of the running this month as he unfortunately missing two games in the FA cup after being cup-tied.

That leaves the door open for six other candidates and now you can vote for who you think deserves the award. Just log onto kentonline.co.uk/Gillingham and have your say.

Barry Fuller

He may not be Gillingham’s most classy player but what he lacks in skill he makes up for in sheer determination. He loves a tackle and has been a thorn in many side’s attack recently.

Albert Jarrett

After a shaky start to his Priestfield career his skill on the ball is starting to show and with a season long contract now in his pocket he’s had a weight lifted from his shoulders and it’s shown. A goal provider and a real entertainer.

Simon King

The league trip to Bury was one King and the whole team will want to forget and apart from that the Gills centre back barely put a foot wrong. A great ball winner and a man truly committed to the cause. Got his first goal for the club this month.

Adam Miller

There are still a number of fans still unsure about Miller but nobody can fault his enthusiasm. During November he’s been played in his favourite position just behind the striker and he’s revelled in it with some glowing performances.

Garry Richards

The Gills managed to record four clean sheets during November and Richards played a part in every one. Willing to get stuck in and put his body on the line and also popped up with a goal in the win over Rotherham.

Curtis Weston

Gillingham’s ball winner in midfield and also the man reliant on getting the side going forward. His range of passing is on par with anyone in League 2 and his quality has shone in the middle of the Gillingham team.
