SEAN CLOHESSY feels his future at the club is a lot more secure following Mark Stimson's arrival as manager.

The young right-back did not feel part of previous manager Ronnie Jepson's plans and admitted to looking elsewhere in a bid to get games under his belt.

Clohessy said: "Me and Ronnie Jepson had words.

"He wasn't giving me many signs that I was going to get back into the team, so I tried to get out on loan but moves kept getting blocked so I had to stay.

"It was depressing because I felt I should have been playing and when you're not it gets to you.

"Me and the old gaffer didn't really see eye to eye. There were things he thought I needed to improve on and he didn't play me."

The 20-year-old has started the last three games under Stimson and admits to feeling a lot happier at the club now.

He said: "It helps knowing that the manager has confidence in you."
