Dover are six points clear at the top of the Ryman League Premier Division table after racking up their 10th consecutive win at Carshalton Athletic on Saturday.

The only goal of the game came on 16 minutes as a move involving Shaun Welford and Lee Browning was finished off at the near post by Frannie Collin.

A first half hat-trick by Carl Rook did the bulk of the damage as Tonbridge swept aside Horsham at Longmead.

Rook set the Angels on their way to a 4-0 win after just eight minutes when he scored from the penalty spot after a foul on Lewis Hamilton.

His second came in the 21st minute when he raced clear before dummying keeper Paul Seuke and slotting home. And he completed his treble on the half hour when he beat the offside trap again before beating Seuke powerfully.

Jamie Cade added the fourth 13 minutes from time when he headed in a John Westcott cross.

Maidstone are up to sixth after also taking maximum points from their clash with Sutton United at Bourne Park.

Ian Selley got the only goal from the penalty spot in the first half - but Stones were grateful to Andy Walker, whose handling was superb in nightmare conditions for goalkeepers.

Two well taken goals by Tyrone Sterling on 56 and 58 minutes gave Cray some breathing space and then a trademark unstoppable free-kick from Tony Dolby 15 minutes from time made it 4-1.

Dave Stevens pulled one back for the visitors on 79 minutes - but there was no time for a comeback.
