A clothes shop in Maidstone closed its doors to customers on Saturday.
Peppermint, which was in Colman Parade, King Street, at its junction with Week Street, cleared its stock out and put a sign up for customers saying it was closed at the end of trading that day.
A spokesman for the company confirmed that it had closed, but would not confirm how many jobs were lost.
The Kent Messenger understands that another firm has already expressed an interest in taking over the lease, at the same time as taking on a neighbouring one, but no planning application has yet been submitted to Maidstone council.
