Hundreds say their farewells to teenager

THE funeral has taken place of a teenager killed while trying to cross the road.

Hundreds of family, friends and classmates of Larrissa Taylor, from Maidstone, attended a service at the town's All Saints' Church today to pay their respects to the youngster.

Larissa, 15, died on Wednesday, November 7 at a London hospital, almost two weeks after she was in collision with a car in New Cut Road, Maidstone.

At the funeral, Will Frogatt, her boyfriend of 19 months, read a tribute.

He said: "The way she looked at me with those beautiful eyes. No-one saw her the way I saw her. It’s all the little things I remember, her laugh, her hair and her eyes. Every second I spent with her was amazing."

No charges have been brought against the driver of the car.
