POLICE are appealing for information about a late-night assault in Gabriels Hill in Maidstone.

Two men walking down the hill were suddenly stopped by two other men who were loitering in the vicinity of the Gala Bingo Hall.

The two loitering men attacked the victims, before running off towards Romney Place. The incident happened between 11.20pm and 11.30pm on Saturday, March 31.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and would also like to hear from the victims themselves, as they have not yet come forward to officially report the incident.
