KENT MP Jonathan Shaw is asking rail passengers to submit questions to put to the boss of Southeastern Trains next week.

The company has promised £70 million of investment in the coming years, with more punctual and less crowded trains, better stations and improved connections.

Chatham and Aylesford MP Mr Shaw, said: “Southeastern has stated on record that passengers should have begun to see real improvements by December last year.

“I want to hear the views and opinions of the local commuters who use the rail service and whether or not they are seeing real improvements.”

The interview with the firm’s managing director, Charles Horton, will be screened on the MP’s website www.jonathanshaw.org.uk from Monday, February 25. Questions can also be lodged online or by calling 01634 811573.
