Witnesses sought by Kent police following crash in The Street Wormshill

Witnesses are being sought after a cyclist suffered leg injuries in a road accident.

The man in his 50s was travelling along The Street, Wormshill, when his bike collided with a Mercedes B-Class car at about 5.25pm on Tuesday, April 22.

He was air lifted to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford but has since been transferred to a London hospital for further treatment.

PC Celia Weller said: “I would encourage witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to contact us. I am also keen to speak to the driver of a silver car, possibly a BMW, that was in the area at the time of the collision that might have information which could help police with their inquiries.”
