Hundreds of people were left without electricity for 12 hours after a power failure.
Residents of 231 homes in the Sidney Road area of Borstal, near Rochester, were without power from just before 3.45pm Monday until 3.10am Tuesday.
An EDF Energy spokesman said: "Engineers worked through the day and into the night to restore supplies.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused."
