Eighties band Level 42 will play Margate Winter Gardens as part of their Sirens II tour

Eighties supergroup Level 42 will play a date in Margate as part of a 20-date Sirens II national tour.

The group, who had hits including Lessons in Love, Leaving Me Now and Running in the Family, will play Margate Winter Gardens on Wednesday, October 12.

The band and its lead singer and bassist Mark King have released 14 studio albums, seven live albums, an EP and six compilation albums; had 18 top 40 singles and sold more than 30m albums worldwide. Their last tour in 2014 was a sell-out.

The line-up is Mark King (bass/vocals), Mike Lindup (keys/vocals), Nathan King (guitar/vocals), Sean Freeman (sax/vocals), Dan Carpenter (trumpet/vocals), Nichol Thomson (trombone/vocals), Pete Ray Biggin (drums).
