The pavilion is perfect for county cricketer

KENT county cricketer Alamgir Sheriyar has moved into his new two bedroom apartment at Ward Homes’ The Pavilion development in Canterbury.

Now he won’t have far to walk for home matches and practice sessions as The Pavilion is just over the road from the St Lawrence cricket ground.

He said: “It is a great location - it means I get to spend extra time in bed. “I used to live just outside Stourbridge and before that Worcester, but when I started playing for Kent, I obviously needed to relocate.

“Kent County Cricket Club sent me information on places to live in this area, and that is how I got to hear about Ward and The Pavilion.

“I bought off-plan after looking round the show home and taking careful account of where my plot would be.”

The Pavilion accommodates 15 luxury two-bedroom apartments, each carefully designed for modern living. Although all the homes there have now been snapped up, there is still hope for those who missed out, as Ward has another development in the heart of Canterbury.

St Mildreds is set right on the banks of the River Stour, literally a few paces from the city centre.

This development offers a complete range of properties from spacious contemporary two and three-bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouses to three-bedroom houses, many with views of Canterbury Cathedral.

The agent for St Mildreds is Strutt and Parker, and full details can be obtained on 01227 45II23.

Prices start at £175,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, ranging to £310,000 for the three-storey, three-bedroom show home.

Details of this and all Ward’s other developments can be found on the web site at www.wardhomes.co.uk
