Dartford boss Tony Burman will not make wholesale changes to his squad for the start of next season.
The Darts visit Boreham Wood on Saturday in the final match of an impressive first campaign which almost ended in a play-off place, and the manager says he wants to keep the majority of his squad for a promotion assault next year.
Burman (pictured right) said: “I will be trying to keep the bulk of the squad together but there will be some casualties. That happens every year.
“There will also be some players coming in but I don’t think we’ll be making full- scale changes.
“We just need some fresh faces with that little bit of quality.
“The bulk of the players and squad have done well during our first season in the Ryman League Premier Division but expectations at a club like ours are high and our aim next year is to get promoted.”
After just missing out on the play-offs, Burman insists his side have learnt a lot.
He added: “It has been a learning curve. I have been impressed with the standard of players and teams in this league. My players have now got a year’s experience.
“Boreham are still in a relegation battle but we have got to go there and try to win regardless of their predicament. We want to finish on a high.”
Tommy Osborne will miss the game with a hamstring injury.
