Boy, 16, arrested after stabbing

A boy of 15 was stabbed by another youth near the Baptist Church in Bourne Road, Bexley, on Friday at about 10.20 p.m.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he was treated for stab wounds and later allowed home.

A police spokesman said there were a number of people in the area and a number 492 bus was in Bourne Road at the time of the stabbing.

A boy of 16 was being questioned after being arrested on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm.
