Ex-publican in court on child porn charge

A former pub landlord and chef has appeared in court charged with making and possessing child pornography.

Andrew Blyth, 54, former landlord of the Chequers Inn, Goudhurst, appeared in Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday charged with making and possessing indecent images of children between 2001 and 2007.

The case was adjourned to Monday, April 14. Blyth was remanded in custody
