THE next step to improving health care for stroke patients will be discussed at a meeting today.
Bexley Care Trust sub-group, Keeping Older People at Home have identified there is no direct access route for stroke patients via A&E.
The group are working on finding out exactly what services there are in the borough to aid patients recovery.
Stroke survivors, carers and specialists are also on board to offer their advice in order to help produce information packs for both patients and carers in the future.
