Witness appeal after serious sex attack

POLICE investigating a serious sexual assault in a Kent village have made a fresh appeal for witnesses to come forward.

The attack happened between 8pm and 9pm on Thursday, October 18, in Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, near Sevenoaks.

Det Insp Dominic Kilbride said: "We are appealing for members of the public to contact us if they saw a woman wearing a light three-quarter length coat running in the Kemsing area or a thick set male aged 40 to 50 wearing dark clothing running in the Otford area during that time.

"We also wish to speak to the driver of a light -oloured taxi seen driving in Pilgrims Way/Pilgrims Way East during that time and the occupants of a small car seen driving in Pilgrims Way/Pilgrims Way East who are described as 'young' and who called out to the woman as they drove past her."
