Woman trapped after road crash

A WOMAN had to be freed from a black Audi A4 car after it was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The crash happened on Cranbrook Road, Frittenden, near Staplehurst, at about 2.45pm on Saturday.

The woman was taken to hospital with a suspected broken ankle. There were no other injuries.

Police say the car had to be recovered from the road following the collision.
