CHARLTON have called a press conference this lunchtime to announce their new manager.
Addicks plc chairman Richard Murray is set to reveal a three-man coaching team at noon, with former Crystal Palace boss Iain Dowie the favourite to head it up.
The 41-year-old left Selhurst Park last week and is expected to replace Alan Curbishley, who parted company with Charlton after 15 years at the helm at the end of the season.
The other two members of the coaching team are likely to be Les Reed, who worked with Curbishley during the Addicks' 1998 promotion campaign, and Andrew Mills, a former agent who was appointed general manager (football) earlier this month.
