FORMER Gillingham striker Carl Asaba, now with Sheffield United, is at the centre of racial remarks allegedly made to him by Reading's Jon Mackie at the end of Saturday's match at the Madejski Stadium.
Asaba was playing against a former club and helped United to a 2-0 win.
United manager Neil Warnock confirmed: “There were remarks made which we will not accept. That's why we have reported the matter to the Football Association and the Professional Footballers' Association.”
