Villagers will learn tomorrow whether the giant KIG rail depot will be built on their doorstep.
The government is expected to announce its long-awaited decision on the giant road-rail freight interchange, Kent International Gateway.
The decision will be made by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
Planning inspector Andrew Phillipson, who conducted an 11-week public inquiry into the proposal in October, delivered his recommendation to communities minister Rt Hon. Eric Pickles MP in April.
If approved, a 259-acre depot will be built on countryside land between Bearsted and Hollingbourne.
