THE body of a man recovered from a Kent river has been identified.

Stephen Freeman, 48, who lived on a boat on the River Stour in Sandwich went missing from the town on November 12.

Police divers recovered his body from the river on Friday, November 30.

A police spokesman said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
