TONBRIDGE Angels manager Alan Walker has bolstered his squad ahead of the new season by making his first two signings of the summer (Fred Atkins writes).

Goalkeeper Jamie Turner, who is 6ft 4ins tall, has joined from Gravesend as a long term replacement for Joe Radford.

Turner was Gravesend’s second choice keeper last year, but played 30 games in the Ryman League title-winning season in 2001/2002, including an FA Cup first round tie away at Huddersfield. The 23-year-old was previously with Deal Town.

Walker’s second signing is defender Andy Larkin, once of Folkestone Invicta.
