It is not believed any staff are self-isolating save for the single case at the Norman Road store.

Deep cleaning following one or several coronavirus cases at a store or office is not compulsory.

Earlier today, it was confirmed Ashford's Tesco Crooksfoot shop would stay open despite "a number" of positive cases.

A B&Q spokesman said: "We can confirm that our Ashford store was temporarily closed on Friday following a team member receiving a positive test result.

"Closing the store for deep cleaning is a precautionary measure and goes beyond government advice. The store has since reopened."
