Car flipped onto roof after two-car collision near the Conningbrook Hotel in Canterbury Road, in Ashford

Police, firemen and ambulance crews rushed to Canterbury Road, Ashford, yesterday morning (Saturday) after a two-car collision.

Fire crews said one car had flipped on to its roof after the incident around 8.30am.

A witness reported seeing a man being treated by paramedics on the floor near the Conningbrook hotel.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) spokesman said two engines were sent to the incident but there were no serious injuries.

She added that all occupants of the vehicles managed to get out the vehicles safely before crews arrived.
