Tablet computers stolen from aArtvark day centre in Ashford.

Several iPads have been stolen from aArtvark day centre in Ashford.

AArtvark, in Caxton House, Wellesley Road, is a group for adults with learning difficulties, teaching them a range of different subjects through the use of art in education and therapy.

A spokesman from the police said: "We received a report of burglary at an office in Wellesley Road between 5pm last night and 9am this morning."

"It was reported that a window was forced open and several tablet computers were stolen from within."

A spokeswoman for the centre said the tablets were a huge part of the interactive learning process for the adults who attend.

Helga Picknell, the manager at aArtvark, said: "We've worked so hard to achieve something and now we've lost everything.

"Its so sick, especially with who it's been done to. The iPad's are so important to us."
