Motorbike crash: biker in hospital after Hothfield smash

A man in his 30s was injured and taken to hospital after a motorbike crash this morning.

Emergency crews, including police and ambulances, were called to the smash between a car and motorbike in Maidstone Road around 7.30am.

Firefighters were drafted in to clean up an oil spillage from the motorcycle and make the scene safe.

Paramedics treated the biker at the scene for leg injuries before taking him to the William Harvey Hospital.

Emergency teams had left the scene at 8.23am.
