Flood warnings as another weekend of torrential rain and storm force winds is predicted for Kent

The River Stour in Ashford is again on flood watch as forecasters predict yet more torrential rain and storm force winds will arrive on Friday evening.

The Stour Centre car park was again partly under water on Thursday and the Environment Agency is warning that Kent flooding blackspots like Yalding are under threat.

SouthEastern is set to introduce a 40mph speed limit on its trains on Friday evening as a precaution against them running into fallen trees brought down by high winds.
