One of three teenager girls involved in a car crash remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The 15-year-old back seat passenger is today fighting for her life in a London hospital following the crash at Charing on Saturday morning.

The girls' black Ford Fiesta, travelling on the A20 from Ashford towards Charing. left the road and hit trees just after 11.30am.

The 15-year-old had been flown to the Royal London Hospital by the Surrey Air Ambulance.

The 18-year-old driver was flown by Essex Air Ambulance to Kings College Hospital in London with what were first thought to be serious head injuries.

She was not as badly injured as first feared and has now been discharged from hospital.

The 17-year-old front seat passenger was taken by land ambulance to Ashford's William Harvey Hospital and then transferred to a London hospital were she is in a stable condition.

Her injuries were first reported as minor but are more serious than first thought.
