Young girls held over graffiti spree

TWO girls, one aged 10 and the other 13, have been arrested and cautioned following a graffiti spree in the centre of Ashford.n.

Police say Liz Parkinson, the South Ashford PCSO, had a telephone call from a local resident after seeing one of the girls covered in paint.

Following further investigation by Neighbourhood officers and the town centre officer, PC Don Grant, the girls were arrested.

One of them had paint on her, which matched the paint in the pedestrian area of the High Street and the Second World War World tank.
