Emergency services were called after a young woman was found “unresponsive” at the side of a main road.
Police and paramedics were sent to the A20 Fougeres Way in Ashford at 11.25pm yesterday (December 12).
Witnesses reported finding a woman - understood to be in her 20s - “unresponsive” on a grass verge along the major route, which is close to The Range and M20.
A police spokesman said: “Officers assisted South East Coast Ambulance Service following a reported medical incident in Fougeres Way, Ashford at 11.25pm yesterday.”
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service added: “We were called at about 11.30 yesterday evening to reports of a female in need of medical attention on Fougeres Way in Ashford.
“Crews assessed and treated the patient at the scene before taking her to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”
