Ashford United face a trip to either Wessex League pair Tadley Calleva or Newport IOW in the Fourth Round of the FA Vase

Ashford United have to wait to find out who they will face in the Fourth Round of the FA Vase next month.

United, Kent's last survivors in the competition, won 5-1 at Southern Counties East League rivals Lordswood on Saturday to reach this stage for the third successive season, and now travel to either Wessex League pair Tadley Calleva or Newport (IOW) who replay on the island on Tuesday night, following a 2-2 extra-time draw in Berkshire on Saturday.

A trip to Newport will revive memories of past Southern League encounters between them and former club Ashford Town.

The Islanders are ninth in the Premier Division, while Tadley are 12th in Division 1.

The tie is due to be played on Saturday January 9.
