CCTV image released as part of Canterbury gang attack investigation

Detectives investigating assaults on two men in Canterbury have released a CCTV image.

Officers are continuing to investigate a gang attack in the city centre which saw the two victims requiring hospital treatment.

An altercation erupted shortly after 7pm on Sunday, July 2 at the junction of St George’s Street and Whitefriars Street.

As part of the investigation, four boys have been interviewed by investigating officers.

A spokesman for the force said: “Following a previous appeal, a further CCTV image of a person who may be able to assist the investigation has now been issued by police.”
