Five men charged in connection with incident at Whitstable house

Police have charged five men in connection with an incident at a Whitstable house earlier this year.

The men, aged between 18 and 24, were charged on Wednesday in connection with an incident at a house in Belmont Road on Tuesday, May 4.

The five men appeared before Canterbury Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 15.

The five charged are as follows:

  • Jim Chambers, 19, of Walmer Road, Whitstable. Charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary, violent disorder and sexual assault.
  • Lee Dryburgh, 24, of St Marks Close, Whitstable. Charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and violent disorder.
  • Alfie Rossiter, 18, of St Andrews Close, Whitstable. Charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and violent disorder.
  • Tyrone Court, 19, of St Patricks Close, Whitstable. Charged with violent disorder.
  • Oliver Stratton, 20, of West Cliff, Whitstable. Charged withviolent disorder.
