A man in his 20s died in a front garden after suffering a medical episode.

Police have confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene yesterday afternoon in Brymore Road, Canterbury.

Authorities were alerted following a report at about 1pm of a person lying unconscious in the residential street off Sturry Road.

The man's family have been made aware and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police cordoned off the street throughout much of the afternoon as tarpaulin was used to surround the scene.

A report into the sudden death is now being prepared for the coroner.
