Police investigating a body found in a tent behind a Canterbury superstore have revealed he was a man in his 60s.
Forensic experts have been working to identify the body since it was found in dense woodland behind B&M Bargains on Monday, April 25.
Now - more than two weeks since the find - officers have taped off the area and are continuing with their inquries.
Police spokesman Sally Smith said: "The decomposed remains of a 60-year-old man were found by a member of the public in rough ground off of Ten Perch Road, Canterbury at around 9.30am on 25 April 2016.
"Since the discovery officers have worked with forensic experts to identify the man.
"Inquiries are on-going and today, Tuesday, May 10 police are looking again at the area in which the man's body was discovered.
"A scene has been established and officers are working at the location."
