Police release CCTV after shoplifter attacks store worker at B&M Stores in Canterbury

A shop worker was injured after trying to stop a man from shoplifting.

The thief was confronted by a shopper as he tried to take items at the B&M Stores in Marshwood Close, Canterbury.

The member of staff then intervened, and was attacked by the thief.

Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

The incident happened at 9.30am on Saturday, November 26.
