Charlie Hemphrey's fine 79 could not prevent St Lawrence & Highland Court losing by seven-wickets to Bickley Park in the Shepherd Neame Kent League Premier Division.

Hemphrey was last man out as Saints were dismissed for 181 before the visitors cruised to victory for the loss of just three wickets.

Canterbury slumped to the foot of Kent League Division 1 after a 42-run loss at runaway leaders Lordswood.

Ryan Minter took three wickets as the home side posted 236-7 and despite 49 from Neil Gowers and last-man Tim Wren’s 34, the visitors were bowled out with an over remaining.

Stuart Sinclair cracked an unbeaten 95 but Whitstable lost to Division 1 promotion rivals Sandwich by two wickets and fell to third.

Sinclair helped the visitors to post 183-8 but despite Jason Logan’s 3-24, the home side reached their target with an over to spare.
