Lorry fires tackled by firefighters

Firefighters in Dartford tackled fires in two lorries last night.

Crews were called to the Merry Chest Cafe in Roman Road, the slip-road to the A2, at about 1am and found a lorry's cab ablaze.

At 2.45am they were called to Colney Road, in Dartford, where they found another lorry cab on fire.

Crews spent about one hour at each incident and managed to stop the flames spreading any further.
