Motorbike ablaze in Broadoak Close, Dartford

A motorbike went up in flames in a suspected arson attack.

Fire crews were called to reports of a vehicle on fire in Broadoak Close, Dartford, at 8.20pm yesterday.

One fire engine attended and crews used a hose reel jet to put the blaze out in 10 minutes.

There were no reported injuries.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Police were alerted and attended the incident at 8.35pm.

Inquiries are under way to establish the circumstances.
